disruption of blood clotting and shooting pain upto the elbow.
Researchers
extracted one of the two glands from their lower jaw and found it secreting
harmful toxic proteins. This toxic proteins is very harmful and can generate
problems such as muscle paralysis, lowering of blood pressure and leading to
shock.

7. Young Komodo
Young Komodo
spend their most of the time in trees where they are safe from Komodo Dragon predators.

These baby Komodo’s
takes 5 to 9 years to mature and may live upto 30 years.
8. Komodo Dragon Reproduction ( Parthenogenesis)
Once a Komodo Dragon laid eggs after separating her from the male dragon two years ago.
Scientists assumed she had been able to store the sperms from the earlier
mating with male dragon, but that was wrong. After that she had laid 11 unfertilized eggs , 7 of them were hatched
and 3 were not due to some reasons.
After that
scientists research on that unfertilized eggs
they found that there is no requirement of mating between male and female dragon to
give birth to young one. Research found
that Komodo Dragon can lay eggs without external fertilization.
And this all thing
known as’ Parthenogenesis’.
9. Komodo's are good Swimmers as well
Are Komodo Dragons poisonous to humans ?
Attacks on
humans is very rare . From the data of Komodo National Park , within 38
years period between 1974 to 2012 ,
there are only 24 human attacks in which 5 are deadly.
They are quite

Komodo Dragon is
in the category of the vulnerable species .
